Independent Parts & Service (IPS), the Shropshire based AWP parts and service provider is expanding its network to include Australasia with a new office opening in Brisbane, Australia in May 2005.
The company, established in 2001 presently covers the European and Middle East AWP market. The Brisbane operation will be managed by Chris McCoy who has been appointed as Managing Director. Mr. McCoy has spent 20 years in the AWP industry having previously worked for Snorkel and Genie. IPS Business Development Director, Rick Mustillo commented “We are very pleased to have Chris join the IPS group. His industry experience can only add to our capabilities as a group to offer choice and service in the important after-market sales sector. We also have a number of customers throughout Asia who will benefit greatly from the local presence in their own time zone”.
IPS have two operations located in Shropshire, UK and Brisbane, Australia offering same day and next day parts despatches across the AWP range. The product range comprises all aspects of after-market sales and includes batteries, power management products, controllers, filters and hydraulic components. In the UK IPS is able to offer a range of tailored service and maintenance options, plus facilities equipped to handle larger products such as boom lifts.
Now entering the re-conditioning market, IPS can offer re-sale, and used equipment. With a team of experienced access equipment engineers on board, they are well placed to offer an all-round sales, service and maintenance package.
