IPS is pleased to announce its new Spanish partnership with Icaro Global Solutions, or IGS, a recently formed company operating from Madrid, Spain. IGS was established in 2009 to sell equipment and support the Spanish plant and lifting equipment after-sales market.
Javier González will manage the parts division, which will stock and sell replacement parts to the Spanish and Portuguese access market. The new venture will benefit from the local knowledge and support offered by IGS and its personnel, who collectively have 25 years plus experience within the construction equipment industry.

The company will hold a large inventory of stock for a range of manufacturer access platforms, as well as parts for Cranes, Telehandlers, Trucks and Generators. As with the previous joint ventures, IGS will benefit from IPS’s existing cross-referencing and purchasing systems. Centrally located, and only 2 minutes drive from Madrid Airport, IGS is well positioned to supply replacement parts to the surrounding cities and regions.
Tony Jennings, IPS UK’s Managing Director comments on the partnership 'We are confident this new venture will provide us with the channel we need to access the Spanish market. IGS are in no doubt that the market exists for an independent parts supplier, and that with the right approach and expertise, they can offer the Spanish market a central point of contact for all their equipment parts requirements, including their access platforms market'.
