Established in 2001, Independent Parts and Service (IPS) has fast become the UK 's leading service provider in the after-sales care and services of powered access platforms, cherry pickers and scissor lifts. Alongside its National UK service division, IPS operates an International sales and distribution network supplying replacement parts for a range of manufacturer products worldwide including Genie, UpRight, Pop Up, JLG, Niftylift and more...

 

Service first and foremost
IPS has built a reputation on providing independent, quality and affordable after-sales support to owners, operators and suppliers of powered access equipment. Based in Telford, Shropshire, we operate a network of over 20 experienced mobile engineers, assisted by a National service support team and a 4,600 sq m workshop equipped with modern facilities and a full-length overhead crane.

In 2009, we expanded our operations with the acquisition of Planet Platforms service division, making us the UK's largest after-sales service provider for powered access platfroms.

We specialise in servicing, LOLER inspecting and repairing powered access platforms, cherry pickers and scissor lifts. Our engineers are on hand to offer advice and support on the smallest of personnel lifts to the largest 23m truck mounted platforms (the largest we have worked on!) - and everything in between.

 

  Next day delivery on parts
With the intention of keeping customers downtime to a minimum, IPS offers the efficiencies of a 'one-stop shop' for all users of powered access. We house an extensive inventory of stock in the UK for a range of manufacturer products, so not matter what platforms you have...Genie, JLG, UpRight, Pop Up, Niftylift - we can get the part! Keeping true to our company philosophy 'making it easy' we offer next day delivery on stock items and hassle free ordering by telephone, email, fax or via our online parts website ipspartsonline.com.

We now operate a global distribution network supplying parts to Europe, Middle East & Africa, with our Australian operation supporting Australia, Asia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Countries.

 

Quality used equipment sales
Not only do we service and supply parts for access equipment, we sell used access platforms to customers in and around the UK. In 2008, IPS added a used sales division to the business. This was a logical choice as we already had the refurbishment facilities, engineering skills and parts support to deliver quality used equipment. We offer advice and support for every step of the purchasing process from making sure you have the best equipment for the job, to tailored service and maintenance packages and after-sales services.
